My role is a little different from a traditional concierge. I don’t just hand out maps or help book dinner reservations. I explore Edmonton and the Leduc area with one goal in mind: to uncover the local gems that are indigenous, independent, and genuinely worth discovering. Located inside Wenze Market, Sazón is a Venezuelan eatery that feels like home. This local gem is known for its authentic dishes like pupusas, tacos, and tamales, each made with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. The space itself is warm and inviting, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot for a casual bite that doesn’t compromise on flavor or culture.
3. Little Brick

Nestled in the Riverdale neighborhood, Little Brick is a café, general store, and historic home all in one. It’s a peaceful escape from the bustle of downtown, perfect for brunch or a mid-morning coffee break. The patio is especially lovely on a sunny day.
